Q: How does the 3D packaging visualizer work?

You upload your artwork and it is mapped as a texture onto a real 3D box model rendered in your browser with WebGL. You can rotate, zoom and switch faces, change the box size and material, and toggle print finishes to preview how the packaging will look before production.

Q: What file formats are supported?

PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP and SVG preview directly on the 3D box and are analysed for colour and resolution. PDF, AI and EPS vector files are accepted so they can be attached to your quote, and the box is previewed using the dimensions you enter.

Q: Can I upload PDF artwork?

Yes. PDF, AI and EPS files are accepted for quoting and attached to your project, but they are not rendered on the 3D box in the browser. For a live 3D preview, upload a PNG, JPG or SVG export of your design.

Q: Can I preview corrugated packaging?

Yes. Choose corrugated (or kraft, rigid, SBS and other materials) and the box updates its colour and surface so you can preview mailers, shipping boxes, cartons and rigid boxes.

Q: Can I export mockups?

Yes. You can download a PNG screenshot of the 3D mockup at the current angle, and a branded PDF report with your specifications, extracted palette, quality analysis and the mockup image.

Q: Can I preview spot UV and foil stamping?

You can toggle matte, gloss, soft-touch, spot UV and foil finishes and the 3D surface changes its sheen to simulate them. These are visual approximations; foil and spot UV need a separate mask layer in production, which we set up with your quote.

Q: Is the colour on screen accurate for printing?

No screen mockup is a colour-accurate proof. Monitors show RGB while printing uses CMYK or Pantone inks, and substrate and finish affect colour. Use the mockup for layout and presentation, and confirm colour with a physical proof from your printer.

Q: What does the colour analysis show?

It samples your uploaded artwork and extracts the dominant colours with their HEX and RGB values, a CMYK approximation, the nearest Pantone suggestion, and the percentage of the design each colour covers.

Q: What is a good resolution or DPI for packaging?

Aim for about 300 DPI at the final printed size. The tool estimates the effective DPI from your image pixels and the dimensions you enter, and warns you if the artwork is too low-resolution for crisp print.

Q: Can I get a packaging quote?
